Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  • Start by combining the dry ingredients in your mixing bowl. Add the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt, mixing them well. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, ensuring they are well blended. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the wet mixture. Then slowly pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, gently mixing until you have a smooth batter without lumps.

Step 2: Heat the Griddle

  • Place your griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Wait until it's hot enough by sprinkling a few drops of water on it. If the water sizzles, it's ready for the batter.

Step 3: Cook the Pancakes

  • Use a spoon or cup to pour the batter onto the hot pan, making circles about four inches wide. Let the pancakes cook until you see small bubbles on top and the edges look firm.
