Equipment

  • Large pot (for boiling pasta)
  • Frying pan (to cook the chicken)
  • Saucepan (to prepare the sauce)
  • Cutting Board and Knife
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Ingredients

For the Garlic Parmesan Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

For the Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 ounces penne pasta or your choice of pasta
  • 2 tablespoons salt for boiling water
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Extra fresh parmesan

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Start by boiling a big pot of water. Add 2 tablespoons of salt to the water to make the pasta taste better. Once the water is boiling, add the penne pasta (or any pasta you like) and cook it following the instructions on the package. It usually takes about 8-10 minutes to cook until it's firm but not hard (al dente). When the pasta is ready, drain it and set it aside, keeping it warm.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  • While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with some salt and pepper. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add a little oil. Place the chicken in the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Once it’s fully cooked, take the chicken out of the pan, let it rest for a few minutes, and then slice it into thin strips.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  • In a different pan, make the garlic parmesan sauce. Melt some butter over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and stir for 1-2 minutes until it smells nice, but don’t let it burn. Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring, then add grated parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Add a little salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Mix Everything

  • Put the cooked pasta back in the pot or in a big serving bowl. Pour the garlic parmesan sauce over the pasta and toss it gently so all the pasta gets covered in the sauce. Add the sliced chicken and mix everything together. Taste it and add more salt or parmesan if you like.

Step 5: Serve

  • Serve the garlic parmesan chicken pasta warm. For a nice touch, sprinkle some fresh parsley and extra parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy your creamy, delicious pasta—great for family dinners or sharing with friends!

Notes

When making this recipe, ensure the pasta is cooked al dente to hold up well in the creamy sauce. Don’t skimp on seasoning—taste as you go to balance the flavors. Finally, for the best results, serve immediately while the dish is hot and fresh!
