Ingredients
  

  • 2 to 3 large fresh chili peppers e.g., jalapeño or habanero, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice about 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Prep Ingredients: Start by washing your chili peppers and cilantro. Mince the garlic and dice the onion.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped chili peppers, minced garlic, diced onion, and chopped cilantro.
  • Add Liquid: Pour in the fresh lime juice and add olive oil to the mixture.
  • Season: Sprinkle in the ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to evenly distribute all the ingredients.
  • Blend (Optional): For a smoother consistency, you can use a blender to blend the mixture until it reaches your desired texture.
  • Taste and Adjust: Taste your sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more lime juice for acidity or more chili peppers for heat.
  • Store: Transfer the sauce to a clean jar or container. Seal it tightly and refrigerate. It will keep well for up to a week.
